Recently, the Board of Selectmen appointed a group of individuals to serve as members of the Low Impact Development Task Force.

This group is a task force assigned to research and investigate Low impact development.  The Town of New Hartford was awarded a Grant from the Department of Environmental Protection (Farmington River Enhancement Grant) affording the Town the oppotunity to consider the implementation of Low Impact Development Regulations as part of the current Zoning Regulations.  This group will work closely with an engineer and a planner to determine a course of action.  They will make recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Commission.  This task force is advisory only.
