The Board of Assessment Appeals meets in September for Motor Vehicle appeals only (not Real Estate or Personal Property (business). A date will be set by the Board and published in the newspaper indicating a date and time of the meeting to be held, and residents can appear with their justification to that meeting.

For taxpayers wishing to file an appeal with the Board of Assessment Appeals the form (for March BAA meetings only) is now on-line in a printable form. Only the form is available on-line. You must print the form, fill it out and mail it to the Board of Assessment Appeals.

Pursuant to P.A. 95-283 of the State of Connecticut, a written application to appeal an assessment must be filed on or before the due date listed on the application. Please complete section ‘APPLICATION TO APPEAL’ and return to the address below by the due date.
