The Board of Finance set a mill rate of 30.276 for the fiscal year which began on July 1, 2017.
The Town has been operating under an interim budget since July 1, 2017 due to the lack of a State approved budget.

Once the State formally adopted its budget, the Board of Finance was able to approve a town budget which was passed at referendum on December 5, 2017.
The setting of the mill rate sets the wheels in motion for the Tax Collector to issue the 2nd installment of the real estate tax bills, issue the motor vehicle tax bills, personal property and the motor vehicle supplement tax bills.

It is anticipated that the tax bills will be mailed during the later part of December.  Residents have the opportunity to call the Tax Office and find out what their taxes are and can pay them in advance of the close of the current year.
