Open Space Preservation Commission presents Public Walks of the Michael Butler Farm and Riverfront Preservation Project

-A A +A

Come out to see this beautiful and exceptional place prior to the Town Meeting on April 24 and the Referendum on May 8.  The Open Space Preservation Commission has arranged for Public Walks of the Michael Butler Farm and Riverfront Preservation Project on Saturday, April 14, 2018 10:00 am and Sunday, April 29, 2018 1:30 pm.

The two-mile, round-trip walk includes short sections of uphill and downhill but is mostly level. It contains some uneven ground. Full walk will take about 1.5 hours or more if you want to stop and talk with volunteers along the way, etc.  All walkers need to check in with volunteers at the trailhead and sign a waiver/ indemnity form. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Because we cannot anticipate numbers of people, please leave your dogs at home. If you cannot, they have to be kept on a leash.

The Town is grateful to the Butler family for opening their property for these walks. Please leave no trace behind you!
