Brodie Beach

The Recreation Department is responsible for the operation of Brodie Beach during the summer months. There you can jump into the water to cool off, get some excercise with a refreshing swim, sit on the beach and just relax, or picnic in the park.
Beach Access passes are required.
Resident, Non-resident and Senior Fees are established each year by the Recreation Commission. 

Resident Fees  $80; second car same household $50
Non Resident Fee:  $315.00, second car - $315.00

Resident Senior or Veteran  $25.00 (household members only still applies for both)
Non Resident Senior or Veteran  $155.00 (househhold members only still applies)

Guest Fees apply to those who are not household members of a pass holder. 

Resident and non-resident passes are available for purchase
in the Office of the First Selectman, 2nd floor - Main Level - Town Hall, 530 Main Street, New Hartford Mondays through Thursdays 8:00am - 4:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or at Brodie Beach when the Beach is open.

THERE ARE NO DAY PASSES for Brodie Beach.  Passes are for the season-- Memorial Day through Labor Day and a couple of weeks beyond - weather depending.

The Recreation Director is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to answer questions.  On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, please speak to the Administrative Assistant to the First Selectman.
